I have a BS in English Education from Far Eastern University and a MA in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of the Philippines. I have experience teaching English to high school and college students. It was there that I had the chance to tutor foreign language students from countries such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I was also a tutor for students with limited English skills from various countries around the world. I am listed in editions 7-9 and the 11th edition of Who's Who among America's Teachers. I sub for first through fifth grade classes in the Reedley, California, public schools. I understand each individual student learns differently, so I use various methods when teaching ESL. I am positive, passionate, and patience when tutoring my students. I truly want to see them succeed and get a firm grasp of the English language. I am prepared to tutor high school and college students in ESL so that their reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills can improve. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
